It may be true that he has some mental issues. Its also true that he has remained consistent through the years on his stances. We could run through a whole list of sociopaths in boxing and beyond who stand for absolutely nothing and receive praise and admiration to no end. I'd imagine Atlas is not well liked amongst boxing fans and his piers. But he is one of the few that I think would stand alone amongst giants for what he believes in. I think he would do FNF'S for peanuts. I was a little bothered at the way he treated Hopkins on set after the Pascal win but what he said was true in retrospect. The timing was inappropriate but Bhop reaped exactly what he sewed because he's the king of inappropriate behavior.

I like him, wish HBO would take him in. Him, Kellerman, and Roy would be a good team.

The only thing I liked about Atlas-and I've seen him for many years- was the rambling way he fracured the English language, the way he struggles with his manufactured mis-pronounced and unsuitable words. He constantly tries to show off, and takes himself so seriously that he never realises that he's making an utter fool of himself. A self-opinated, unfunny fool.

If you guys ever heard of Yogi Berra, he was/is the Yogi Berra of boxing.........but only as far as murdering the vernacular is concerned. For the rest, he doesn't match up.

I don't like him, I'm sorry for him.

Definitely. I bought his book. Atlas is a boxing guy. What's not to like?

Do I respect him as a commentator? No.

Have been a fan for years and yesterday just added to my appreciation for him.
lol, you don't even know what the ABC actually is yet you jump on the boxing bashing bandwagon. Tell me then, what is the ABC and what are it's functions............... Rockin'
