And can you sit there and tell me that every mexican you've ever met hasn't included beans in some part of their diet? every one of em that I've met HAS, and i've known HUNDREDS Of them, good people, in the air force. and actually I didn't need to flame or own BIGPOPPAPUMP, he owned himself when he selected that name, i just kicked the guy when he was down.
are you still 'training in new york' or have you even had a bout yet...im guessing you havent had a bout.
I'm 52 years old Jr. I trained in Cincinnati......35 years ago.
And I'm not hispanic. A protoge' of legendary boxing figure Rollie Schwartz who was good friends with one of Duran's seconds told me about the "diahrea scenerio". I don't understand why this is such a problem for a couple of you guys. Was the Duran YOU are familiar with a "habitual" quitter?? I am unfamiliar with that version of Duran.
And finally......
You kick guys when they're down...and this is a source of pride?
You are pitiful.Comment

Originally posted by DiegoFuegoAll right, I need some input here. Somebody tried to tell me Duran quit against Leonard in the rematch because he had to go take a ****. I think Leonard frustrated him to hell, and the bastard just had enough and quit. What happened?
Leonard vs Duran 2 was a huge disappointment. Duran wanted another 'Brawl In Montreal' in the rematch and Leonard said 'No Thank You'. The only time Leonard stood flatfooted in the rematch was inbetween rounds. Sure Duran was frustrated, you could see that during the fight. He knew if Leonard continued to run he was gonna loose a decision. Once the show boating started he said '**** this' and quit.Comment

Sorry to interrupt, but this thread has really been taken off topic with the two of you bickering. How about we get back to debating about 'No Mas' instead of hurling insults at each other, and telling each other how large our biceps are?
To be honest, i don't think Duran was so much giving up as annoyed - i think he was annoyed, and tired, and just wasn't bothered - he wasn't scared or anything, just annoyed. I don't buy into the bathroom theory though - it's just a handy excuse.Comment
