    That makes NO SENSE WHATSOEVER.

Diahrea isn't always caused by laxatives.

well then it's his own fault for not preparing himself pre-fight thus making him the lesser fighter. being that he's hispanic I don't doubt he liked beans, which is a laxitive in it's natural state.

Real boxing fans don't think "No Mas" when they see/hear Duran's name.

That was an aberration.....he never came close to quitting in any of his other 100+ fights.

Yes.....that night was a disgrace, especially to someone like Duran. But, his career overshadows that one night, IMO.

he said no mas because he was embarrassed that's all . i'm sure every fighter has had a cramp of some kind before or during a fight and not just gave up.

I saw all of Durans fights either on video or live, he was one of the greatest fighters of all time, but he gave up in the second fight with Leaonard.....

Thanks for your invaluable input. You are a master at recognising the obvious.

But we are discussing WHY he gave up.

Duran was not up to continuing with that type of fighting.
Whether there was something wrong going in that made him less eager or not....don't know, no one knows.
IMO....Leonard blew Duran's mind away, that night.
