Cintron was so finished that Mosley or Lopez would've probably beaten him. I think Rosado would've gotten inside on Cintron and whupped his ass.

he should look impressive/dominant, he's a solid 154 lber going up against a solid 140 lber. is this a serious question?

My bad for giving the fighter that has beaten real actual 154lbers, the benefit over a fighter that hasn't.
so because a fighter hasn't established himself in said division, it's ridiculous to think he can beat fighters in that division?
broner can't beat khan, rios, or garcia at 140 because he's not proven at 140? ward can't beat hopkins, cloud, or cleverly at 175 because he's not proven 175? that's honestly what you're saying, albeit alvarez campaigns in the division you're saying he hasn't proven anything in.
it's not about giving any fighter the benefit of the doubt, it's about looking at his performances and seeing for yourself if this fighter has the goods or not. i've always said alvarez has shown some skills, and that he has the potential to be at the top of the 154 lb division. we won't know until he proves it against legit opposition though. i'm not claiming alvarez to be the next atg, i never have and i never will.

Rosado only knows challenging fights, it would be a whole new animal to Alvarez.

to be fair to alvarez, be had few amateur fights himself, and he turned pro in his mid teens.

All those fighters you're using as examples have beaten good fighters from the weight class they campaign in. Bumhype hasn't beaten anyone worth typing about from his. Until he proves he can beat them, he'll be just what he is a protected hypejob that fights welterweights & lower & not even the best of them either.

i changed he's never fought at to he's not proven at because that's what i really meant to say. regardless, i do agree with you that he fights old and smaller fighters, there's no denying that. i just think he's more unproven than a hypejob. time will tell i guess...
