It's more ****** to assume that a fighter that's done nothing in any division is better than the fighters that do things in any said division. Anyhow, now the name calling has started therefore there's nothing more to discuss between us. My bad for not giving ginger the benefit of the doubt like you do. it's not about giving any fighter the benefit of the doubt, it's about looking at his performances and seeing for yourself if this fighter has the goods or not. i've always said alvarez has shown some skills, and that he has the potential to be at the top of the 154 lb division. we won't know until he proves it against legit opposition though. i'm not claiming alvarez to be the next atg, i never have and i never will.

Rosado only has like 10 amateur fights then got thrown in there with the best right away. No protection. He's young and improving. I think it would be a good fight he has a real chance of winning. His upbringing in the sport was the total opposite of Alvarez. Rosado only knows challenging fights, it would be a whole new animal to Alvarez.

to be fair to alvarez, be had few amateur fights himself, and he turned pro in his mid teens.

i changed he's never fought at to he's not proven at because that's what i really meant to say. regardless, i do agree with you that he fights old and smaller fighters, there's no denying that. i just think he's more unproven than a hypejob. time will tell i guess...
