most people can write him off after boxrec'ing him and seeing those 5 losses, but i don't think that's the case. i think it's more to due with him not having any big wins. he's had a string of solid wins as of late, but overall, it's nothing too impressive (generally speaking). no one knows whittaker, powell isn't any good, and soto karass is more of a WW (also isn't that good). obviously he's looked good winning and showed improvements, but most people who haven't seen his fights wouldn't acknowledge these wins.
trout's got cotto, lara's got williams, and kirkland's got angulo. i think rosado needs one of those types of wins (i wish k9/rosado would've happened already) but i think that's the main reason most people overlook rosado. as for myself, i've liked what i've seen from rosado (i don't think he's a scrub), but i'm not confident in him against the top of the division (i consider alvarez a top LMW). to me, guys like lara and trout are better fighters overall. i would have liked to seen him stay at 154 and continue his progress. hopefully this golovkin bout doesn't derail him.

So, which 1 of ginger's wins is or are better than the bolded?? At 154.

I didn't say you did, which is why I asked. I'm still trying to figure out the logic about having ginger rated highly in a weightclass he's literally done absolutely nothing in. The guy in your sig would whoop him something fierce.

alvarez looks to be an all round better fighter than rosado, imo he would handle him easier than most people think. i got alvarez stopping him mid-late rounds if he doesn't catch him early.
ok lets just act like you didn't say that...what has Nelo done to make you believe he's strong enough to stop, drop or hurt LEGIT 154 pounders?...school me

I'm so desperately trying to be (schooled) on this particular topic myself. I'm itching to learn & be taught why a guy that campaigns at 154 & never done a damn thing there can beat fighters that actually fight other fighters from there. No 1 wants to educate me though.

I agree that he lacks a notable victory, and I also believe that it was the wrong time to move up. If he loses, he can just go back to 154 and fight the winner of Molina/Spinks to regain his IBF spot. I would definitely like to see Molina/Rosado.
