So, was Cotto washed up all year or only after Trout beat him?

I see, you're going with Floyd's truth telling record, who woulda thunk it.

The motivation is obvious, to make himself look better. It's the same thing that motivates you to keep defending this unverifiable and far fetched claim.

Cotto has been shot since Round 7 of the Margarito fight back in '08. I've said it since the fight, and I'll repeat it here. And I'm a huge Miguel Cotto fan.

His opposition at 154 was awful, but he's talented enough to have become a champion while being totally shot. That says something.

I haven't defended Floyd's claim man. I'm simply saying that his claim is not unbelievable like you said. There's nothing far fetched about losing 3-4 pounds in a day if you're sick. You're the one who is calling Floyd a liar based on nothing but your hate for him. It's not up to me to prove that Floyd was telling the truth, it's up to you prove or provide evidence that suggests that he was lying. What is it about Floyd that turns you people into haters? It's really sad.

If you want the world to know your fight night weight, you step on the hbo scale. If you refuse and issue an implausible claim that's supposed to make you look better somehow, you can't expect to be taken seriously by anyone other than fanboys. If anything, it lessens your credibility in such matters in the future.

I don't know what happened to his right hand in 2012. I know he's left handed in all but he used to throw his right hand a lot more before he got with Diaz.

just depends on who he's fighting.

Cotto is past his prime. With that said he's still a good fighter and he's not shot by any stretch of the imagination. He was past it against Floyd and Trout.

That's it right there. This is all about you being concerned with Mayweather "looking good" or getting extra credit. You haters are petty when it comes to Mayweather. Whether he was the 151 that he was at the weigh-in or the 147 that he claimed to be is pretty much insignificant. Relax hater, he doesn't get any more credit for that win regardless. Weighing in at 151 for a fight at 154 tells you that cutting weight wasn't an issue. If anything he had to put some extra weight on just to get to 151 for the weigh in. No matter what you say, it's not implausible for him to have dropped a few pounds having been sick. Especially if he had to bloat himself somewhat for the weigh-in.

It's a claim that usually gets brought up by his fanboys. And questioning it can apparently send a fanboy in a tizzy. No worries man, whatever you wanna believe, I'll stick with my eyes, common sense, and the hbo scale.
