Who Should Cotto Fight Next?

He's been on empty for some time now. He fought hard and did very well considering he wasn't a multi talented fighter. He made good money and seems to be in good health but that will NOT last long against younger fighters! Retire!! Be happy and content with your career it was a pretty good one! Family Time! Ray.

I see a lot of people calling for him to move back to 147. While you could argue that he's undersized at 154, I say he can't make 147 anymore. That being said, He's still a big enough draw that he could lure some relevant 147 fighters to 150-154 and be on an even playing field. Guys like Ortiz, Berto, Maidana would jump at the chance to fight Cotto imo, and would all make for fun, winnable fights, albeit not relevant or division-shaking in any sense.

I say take k9's belt, and defend it a couple of times against those guys I mentioned and call it a career. Of course, having a belt and a couple of wins would make a Canelo fight hard to resist, even if Canelo loses by then, its always gonna sell.

I say Bundrage, Ortiz and then end it with a Canelo fight.
