The only Lightweights Broner should be fighting are Vazquez, Burns, or Abril. This is a step back even from Demarco

Don't waste our time with Gavin fu king Rees...

People are overacting, it's not a great fight but it's hardly Darren Barker level bad.

Rees is in the Top 10 at 135 and he's actually a decent fighter.

I'd say it's around the Martin Murray level. Difference is Broner is fighting every 3-4 months, and is being ducked by one of the other top guys in his weight class, Ricky Burns.

Sergio, now I don't want to say ducking, but not fighting his biggest threats at his weight (Golovkin, Geale, Pirog), and opting to fight Darren Barkers and Martin Murray's. Oh and he's not 23 just entering into his prime, this is now or never time for Sergio, he only has another 1-2 years left probably.

It's a decent stay busy fight, could be a lot worse.

Pretty much. He wanted Burns and it's not his fault it didn't happen.

Atleast Rees is ranked. Not like he's fighting Gary Sykes

But, Broner is going to kill him.

no no no. Sergio is on a run reminiscent of Hagler or Monzon. What makes his dominant string of victories against this murderer's row of ATG MW's even more impressive is floyd and ggg are both ducking him while he's doing it.

Hahaha the sad thing is people believe if Floyd doesn't fight the Middleweight champion, he's ducking.

Sergio will never fight Gennady Golovkin or Dmitry Pirog (Golovkin, I get it. He's a huge risk. Pirog, that fight should have happened when Sergio-Barker happened, I think Sergio would mop the floor with Pirog). He may fight Geale, that's who Sergio should have attempted to fight in April.
