its an absolute joke pal. as far as im concerned, ward is the super middleweight champ and the rest are contenders with belts. it shouldnt be like that. should be 1 title and 1 title only per division.Comment

Piss off. Ward's already beat the other belt holders, he won the super 6, he beat the LHW champ too boot.
Stop hating Ward is the best at 168 and he's proved it.
I'd be intrigued to see a Kessler rematch and a match against Andre Dirrell too, but if he moves up, he will have as the lineal champion and the man to beat in the division.Comment

European belt is what Kessler should be holding, seeing as he can probably still edge out Groves and De Gale. I dont know why he didnt go for that instead of this non existent belt - he'd gain muchmore kudos for holding that than this peice of rubbish thatshe has now needlessly trained for.
Noone really cares about invented belts.
My own opinion is that there should be ONE major title, with either 1 or in extreme cases of 'Ottke type protection', 2 supporting/alternative body world titles. Everthing else should not have the word 'World' in it.
As for Froch/Kess, I;d still go 50/50 at this point. Kessler had a dip in form when he lost his undefeated record (and hence his pride) but now thats healed and hes firing on all cylinders again. Dont forget this is the Kessler who was outboxing Calzaghe until his fitness problems showed. Kessler has potential ATG heart and pressure plus very good offensive skills to boot.Last edited by DreamFighter; 12-27-2012, 09:58 AM.Comment

Do you know what undisputed champion means?
Froch is the IBF's world champion and Abraham is the WBO's world champion. In professional boxing, the undisputed champion of a weight class is a boxer who is recognized as the world champion at that class by each boxing organization.
Not hating, I rate Ward as the sport's best. However, if a fighter wants to be undisputed champion he has to hold all four belts. If Ward wants to pursue it, that's up to him. Until then, he isn't the undisputed champion at 168.Stop hating Ward is the best at 168 and he's proved it.Last edited by Weebler I; 12-27-2012, 10:22 AM.Comment

The bold is true.
Belts are worthless, most fans should know who the best guys are at each weight.Comment

Yep, I completely disagree with what Weebler said.Piss off. Ward's already beat the other belt holders, he won the super 6, he beat the LHW champ too boot.
Stop hating Ward is the best at 168 and he's proved it.
I'd be intrigued to see a Kessler rematch and a match against Andre Dirrell too, but if he moves up, he will have as the lineal champion and the man to beat in the division.
Him insisting that Abraham is a SMW champion just because he holds a worthless belt is actually the cause of the problem.
Ward is the man, Froch is next, then Kessler, then the rest.
Abraham is not one of the top 3 SMW's, let alone a true champion at 168.
We all know this, so who cares what belt he happened to stumble across.Comment
