Kessler suffered from the Ward fight, since Froch he had three tomato can wins. He's questionable at this stage when going in against the best fighters. Love to see him upset Froch and move on to a Ward rematch, but it's against the odds.

IMO Kessler seems fit, fast and strong. And with his new more aggressive style, and fighting closer to his opponent...he is lethal. Montoya has done a small miracle, changing the style of a more than 30 year old fighter....he almost fight like a mexican now

I see a gruelling war, stoppage victory for the man who brings his a-game on the night.

He seems fit, fast and strong against b level Bouadla, Green, Magee, question is, how will he look a few years after the first Froch fight. Froch is on a roll and seems more lethal than Kessler at this point. I understand where you're coming from, but Kessler will lose against Froch at this stage, sorry. But Mikkel will get a good payday at least.

This is the best fight at SMW that could be made at the moment, since the first fight was pretty much a draw. Froch has to be favored in this new one, but it's not a sure thing. It helps him that it's in the UK this time, obviously.

My thoughts exactly. The WBA has reserved the 'Super' tag to their champion if this champuion holds more than one belt. After Froch-Kessler II, assuming it gets done, the WBA will have two 'super' champions.

It's a mess. I am sure the WBA will find some 'creative' solution to maximize sanctioning fees. Integrity? Oh that's long gone.

You can say that, but still those 'tomato cans' has given some trouble to the best fighters in the world:

Bouadla is one of only three to go the distance with Golovkin.
A drained Green went the distance with Ward in a snoozer.
Magee did very well against Froch and Bute and racked up some good wins before Kessler.

                  Kessler KO'ed them all brutally.

Still you are correct in them not being elite fighters. It remains to be seen whether Kessler is still able to dance with those guys, but writing him off is too soon. It could be that the relative inactivity due to injuries, has given his injury-prone body some needed rest. At least the double vision he suffered from in the Ward and Froch fights are gone.
