My question is why was the fight venue a stumbling block, because Kessler didn't want to rematch in the US?

He doesn't call himself the son of God. His nickname is Son of God, as in everybody is a Son of God.

Ward is so damn normal and cool that people try and find the most ridiculous reasons to call him a scumbag.

No. The stumbling block was that Ward is injured and wants to fight Pavlik. Therefore Ward will not be available before the late summer at the earliest. Hence the Kessler-Froch II negotiations gathered steam.

Kessler has said that he'd have no problems fighting in the US aain. He even said he was ready for another trip to jOakland. To that Sauerland said that he would never allow a Ward-Kessler II in jOakland but that Vegas or New York would be fine with him.

Ward needs to shut the hell up. Steve Kim is reporting that Ward won't be able to fight Pavlik now in March either. I guess he just expects everyone to wait around for when he can fight again....

Listen up! No one supports unifications more then me, but mandatorie's are there for a reason & in this case it's Kessler(WBA regular belt holder) & DeGale (WBC silver titlest) Of course if Froch beats Kessler as expected then the #1 & 2 should meet in a rematch & hopefully it will happen on nuetral ground. Ward's biggest problem is that due to home town fights, he's alienating himself from the Boxing public!
