Comments Thread For: Andre Ward Rips Froch-Kessler II: Jabs Carl, Eddie Hearn

WBC/WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward has ripped IBF king Carl Froch and his promoter Eddie Hearn. Ward says the two men are "misleading the fans" when they make comments regarding their desire to put together a potential rematch. A year ago, Ward defeated Froch by way of a unanimous decision to win the Super Six Tournament. Froch is now inching closer to a rematch with Mikkel Kessler, who holds the WBA's "regular" title at the weight. Froch has been demaning a Ward rematch in the press, but Ward says the Nottingham star wants nothing to do with him.

Andre Ward is the world's most pampered boxer in the world. He demanded all his fights in the Super Six be in the US.

All the others had to fight in foreign countries: Froch fought 4 times in foreign countries: in Finland, Denmark and the USA twice; Abraham fought in the USA twice and in Finland; Kessler fought in the US; Even Dirrell was willing to fight in the UK.

But Ward was too much of a baby to leave home.

Then, he refused to fight Chad Dawson at a catchweight of 170 (just two pounds above the super middleweight limit) - he wanted to be sure Chad would be weight-drained.

Froch-Kessler 2 is a fight everyone wants to see.

Very few want to see Ward rematch Kessler or Froch.

If you cant find nothing bad to say, you try your BEST and all you can come up with is him not fighting out of his hometown? LOL Man come get me, when he has a close fight in his hometown, or he robs someone! Until then no ones gives a shiet! Ward's skills outweigh any of this trash yall tombout!

I can agree on this because Ward won quit handly the first fight! But Im glad he's talking trash and making Froch look like a liar, and scardy cat, because I hate Froch! He was humbled after he lost to Ward, but after he beat Bute he went back to acting like an arrogant jerk! This guy talks trash like he's a slick, fancy, flashy boxer! This dude is a boring, slow, bum!

Froch-Kessler was close and very exciting
both guys have something to prove against each other
Ward-Froch was ok, but Ward won clearly and has nothing to prove
another win on Froch is nice, but Ward doesn't need it
not sure why he even cares what these guys are doing
whatever it is, they're beneath him in the division and he's still champ

I like Ward, but this is just petty.

Calling Kessler a weak link is in poor taste right off the bat, fact is Kessler-Froch II is the best fight at 168. This is the fight Carl has been looking for since the first bout, if he comes through this he'll look for Ward next.

These two guys are warriors, are willing to fight anybody (and fight them anywhere) and will put on another great fight.

And someone in this thread just called Froch boring, ****ing lol.

That is a Big Lie!! How could he demand that all his fights were in the U.S. when he was the least known guy that entered the Tourney. Also Dawson went on TV and said he wanted to go to 168 so everybody can hear him. Even of Dawson really wanted 170, who cares. Nobody told Dawson to talk big trash after he beat an old Hopkins. Andre Ward just made him honor his word...

Cuz Ward is slowly realizing that he has no one to fight in his class lol! The dumbest thing Ward could have done, was fight Chad so soon! That fight should have built up more! Ward should have cleaned his class; Dirrell brothers, while Chad cleaned his class, Cloud and Pascal, and by the time all these fights happened, Ward would be ready to move up, and Chad and Ward could have fought sometime next yr at 175! That would have been a HUGE fight by then, by now that Ward has beaten just about the only name with some skills, and D, he is stuck fighting square bums like trout, Pascal, and Froch rematch! Ward will be the next Calzaghe!
