I'm a big Floyd fan Larry but you're just reaching with this thread.

Gatti wasn't lineal and he certainly wasn't the best at JrWW and Balodmir may have been lineal champ but anyone with eyes could tell he wasn't the best guy at WW. Cotto would have been a challenge 4/5 yrs ago but 154 isn't his best weight, plus he is obviously fading.

Mayweather's resume on paper looks so much better than it actually is.

That's why I think in 20 years time, people will look back and see how many highly ranked fighters he fought and think, wow. I see people doing it now with certain fighters.

Larry is absolutely correct with his rankings here, Gatti was #1 (Other than The Ring Champion), somehow.

He also missed out Corrales who was #1 at 130.

So that's;

Corrales #1
Castillo #1
Castillo #1
Gatti #1
Baldomir #1
Mosley #1
Cotto #1

That's eight people who were offically ranked at #1 in their weight class (Some not including Lineal)

Then add guys like Marquez who was #2 P4P, Mosley #3 P4P, Hatton #8 P4P, Corrales #5 P4P, Guererro (if he wins) #10 P4P.

Then other guys like Manfredy Top 3 at 130, Chavez Top 5 at 130, Judah Top 3 at 147, De La Hoya Top 5 at 154, Ortiz #2 at WW. And there's more I missed out, not sure if Carlos Hernandez was Top 5 at 130 or not.

On paper, his resume (going by rankings) looks like one of the best ever.
