yall are using the excuse of sergio being drained as a reason why floyd doesn't need to fight him. chad dawson is chad dawson. just like shane mosley is shane mosley and zab judah is zab judah. not everybody who drops weight is drained. sergio is a very small middleweight. there is a much less size difference between him and floyd than there is between him and chavez jr and pavlik. but that doesn't bother him. but poor floyd is too small. although floyd has always said himself that weight don't win fights.

Dawson hadn't made 168 for 6 years since he was 26. Martinez made 154 at the age of 34, 3 years ago. It's not like he was young and grew into middleweight and at one point was considered the best at 154 & 160.

He says he prefers not to fight at 154 as it doesn't play to his 'strengths' thus only wanting the best. I hear he walks around at 164 lbs too.

dawson opened his mouth right after a fight and said he could make 168. then he realized maybe that was too much and asked for a catchweight but then it was too late. sergio has been saying he could make 150. if he thinks he can make 150, he knows he can make 154 easy. but they don't want to hear that. they want to make sergio out to be some huge monster.
