Donaire is a bigger man, a very good counter puncher, and can hurt anyone with a single punch. He's proven himself over and over again on the biggest stages. Rigondeaux may make the fight hard, may make Donaire look bad, but I don't think he'll win.

He has power and he does have the power to hurt Rigondeaux and pretty much anybody around the weight.

I'm not sure he is a good finisher though, yeah he has one punch power but what I mean is when he has a guy hurt he goes for it but he just gets wreckless throwing left hand after left hand. Left hand happy.

You can hit Rigondeaux but he is so crafty and almost impossible to hit with a follow up. I have never seen him hit twice with the same shot. Never seen him hit flush with more than one shot.

          Yes he does.

Rigo outboxes donaire if he were to win, i just dont see the face first Ko you seem to be advocating.

I think he wins on points but I won't at all be surprised to see him get careless and knocked out against Rigo.
I think his defense is a big concern, sure he seemingly has a good chin but Rigo is fast, explosive, hes got great timing and hits you with shots you don't see coming.

Dan I have 200bn on Donaire beating Rigondeaux. I was backing Rigo to pull the upset but my eyes have seen enough for me to be confident that Donaire probably even wins by KO.

Rigo is no mug, serious amateur ped, great athlete with awesome reflexes, but all of that us coupled with a chin I don't have confidence in against someone like Donaire who is also a very talented and gifted athlete

Fancy the bet? If the fight isn't made my July then lets revisit the bet nearer the time of the fight as Arum might be in marinade mode until 2018

If rigo gets careless with donaire he gets KTFO, i dont see donaire with this same handicap with rigo. It will take a boatload of carelessness/frustration and lack of focus for rigo to score the KO you are advocating.

If Rigo doesn't get K.O.'d then I'm almost sure he would get the decision, but I just can't see him making it to the sound of the bell in the 12th.
