How can Donaire beat Rigondeaux...

Most counter-punchers look significantly less impressive when they're forced out of their comfort zone and forced into pressing the fight and initiating the action inside the ring.Donaire's no exception. He's still been dominant over the last five and a half years.
Rigondeaux is an aggressive counter-puncher with a pawing jab that operates best in the pocket against other stationary opponents. We're not talking about a tall, rangy jabber that employs constant lateral movement like Mathebula. And Donaire isn't likely to press forward, loading up on almost every shot against a sharp, hard puncher like that, either.
Throw two counter-puncher in the same ring against one another and I'll easily favour the quicker, more explosive, damaging puncher of the two.And at this point,Rigondeaux's chin is suspect.
I'd personally rather the more tested and proven Mares, but whatever.

Bare in mind, Rigondeaux is small but he is no 108, 112, or 115 lb fighter.
What do Arce, Darchinyan, Vasquez Jr, H. Marquez, Montiel, Martinez etc etc all have in common? If you answered they are all wreckless & come forward with their face first, you are correct. Its a bit like Manny Pacquaio really - You stand infront of him, he'll kill you. You show him movement, he is clueless and will follow you around getting frustrated & making mistakes.
This is Uncle Bobs matchmaking at its finest.
Concepcion (at times), Harutyunyan (at times) & Mathebula boxed off the backfoot - Everyone who has boxed off the backfoot has gave Donaire fits.
There is not a fighter alive that can box as well off the backfoot as Rigondeaux. He can hit you to head or body with either hand off the backfoot and knock you out. He is stylistic nightmare for Donaire.
Rigondeaux has seen it all, Donaire has never seen anybody with that footspeed, handspeed, lateral movement, precision pin-point counter punching.
I don't agree though. Respect for your opinion and all, but i've seen nothing in Rigondeaux showing he could beat a beast like Donaire.

I dont expect nonto to dominate but that suspect rigo chin will get caught sooner or later. imo
It has nothing to do with respect, he has poor defense, period.
Once he gets touched to the body by Rigo he sure will have some new found respect for his power, I assure you.
Rigondeaux is so accurate & has legitimate world class power in both hands, not one like somebody. He sure as hell better have some respect for Rigo's power or he'll be left face first on the canvas.

Did it stun him? Yes it did.
I felt he recovered very well though.
I don't have any concerns about his chin and even if it is pretty bad, he has outstanding defense.

I agree with this but I wouldn't count out Rigo's power either. He has plenty of power himself and is scarily accurate.
They should rename him ''el francotirador'' The Sniper.
