Alex Ariza made Manny not Roach

I don't want to take anything away from Marquez, great performance from a great champion. Cong**** JMM!

But Freddie Roach did not make Manny, he was already a damn good fighter and any half-decent trainer could of done that with him if not done a better job. I always felt careful matchmaking with a lot in their favour helped him shine.
The guy who made Manny and took it up a gear was Alex Ariza.

Mannys conditioning, workrate, punch resistance, etc etc, most of his main assets was improved by one man, Alex Ariza. The best S&C trainer in the game!

Go ask Khan, he made the same mistake when he switched to a Fitness First dummy who clears up the dumbells.

Sure tactics played massive roles but its clear to see Ariza did wonders for both.

Nope. He only helped Manny stretch, they abandoned all S&C work for this fight.

Didn't Manny just do traditional boxing training camp?
He looked fresher than ever, the best I've seen him. He just got careless and ran into literally a huge straight right.

They got sucker punched by Marquez's one year prep. They took it lightly.

According to Freddie Roach he only helped with the stretching. That being said conditioning had little to do with Pacquiao getting molly whopped, he should have shown more caution/respect towards Marquez.
