A lot but IMO its not too difficult to take guys who are mostly already world champions or world champion material under your wing and continue having success.

Any decent trainer could do it, he only gets the credit because hes ''hollywood''

That said he has had a horrific 18 months, maybe the worst in boxing history.

manny's legs were brilliant though, very fleet footed and co-ordinated, you can tell he did more normal "boxing" exercises for this fight

Just because Roach who detests Ariza said all they do is stretch during an interview about S&C coaches and PEDs doesn't mean thats all they did.

For one thing Manny put on a lot muscle for this fight coming in right at the 147 limit.

Didn't look like muscle to me. Certainly wasn't lean muscle tissue.
In fact I don't think he looked in good shape for him at all.

I'm not saying he was in bad shape by any means but he didn't look as cut to me, noway near. Possibly the worst shape I've seen him in and he really wasn't taking Marquez shots well.

Conditioning plays a big factor in punch resistance IMO

Whilst he looked sharp and fleet-footed I felt he didn't look in great shape for him anyway and I felt from round 2 he wasn't taking Marquez shots well though they did look very powerful.

I think what cost him wasn't just his wrecklessness but a combination of that, no S&C work and Marquez's bodyshots.

The commentators and people on here haven't said anything about them but I picked up on those vicious lefts to the liver which was bringing his right hand down.

But the shot that JMM KO Pac with doesn't look that more hard to me for Pac, Maybe it's because he didn't see the punch, Anyway why did they abandon S&C work for this fight?

I think its because he walked straight into increasing the impact.

I'm not sure actually I believe they said they felt Manny was better off without it and never got cramps before he started doing the programmes with Alex. Alex was very outspoken and unhappy about it and said it was a bad idea.

Think this is the video of Alex speaking on it.
