at best, it was a draw after round 10 and then trout clearly won the last 2. i can agree with the 117-111 cards, not the other one.

Trout won 7- 8 rounds either or, he was more active throughout the fight but early and in the middle rounds Cotto punches seemed to be affecting Trout more but he visiably tired as the fight progressed allowing Trout to take most of the later rounds

I know who he is, and I know what he's trying to do. He's a Cotto fan so he wants to look unbiased.

I gave nobody the benefit of the doubt and thought the fight was okay as a draw.

I don't like Trout and everybody knows i'm no Cotto fan, putting it lightly.

Cotto was outboxing Trout, but he just couldn't hurt him unlike the other way around.

Trout was nothing special at all, just bigger and more powerful at the weight. He should not get much credit for this win.

This was not a close fight at all. Trout landed more throughout the fight, controlled the ring generalship, had effective aggression through out, and was more effective on his defense as well.

Cotto lost this fight and the best you could give him was probably 4 rounds. I love people saying I didn't score the fight, but I thought it was close. It doesn't work that way. You score a fight round by round, not be a general feel after watching it.

And for god sakes more goes into deciding who won a round then punches landed.

There are 3 minutes in a round, and the round must be scored in it's entirety, not just a blocked flurry or two. Or a single shot or two. Ineffective aggression is not scored in Boxing.

Pretty much word for word how I saw it.

I was faded last night. Did one of the judges throw a 119 out there?

It is mind boggling to me how some people score fights on this site.
