Cotto is 5'7 with a 67" reach. I definitely think his size has something to do with losing to Trout and most likely would lose to a few other top guys at 154. Trout was able to manhandle him in the clinch.

He's the smallest (not shortest, but smallest in term of size and frame) topguy at 154.

Only real good performance he has had at 154 is vs. Mayweather. A smaller fighter.

He can definitely hang at 154 but i don't think it's his ideal weight at all.

Cotto couldn't win two rounds in a row against Floyd. I believe he did with Trout

Floyd may be the best outside fighter in boxing as of now.

He has very long arms and would be able to jab at Trout since Trout's jab holster is low.

Unlike Cotto, Floyd has more than just a jab for long range combat. There's the jab, right hand, and right to the body. Cotto can barely throw a right downstairs.

Not taking anything away from Trout, because Trout is pretty good....

I think that if Mayweather would have fought Cotto at 140 years ago, he would have outboxed him more thoroughly....

Mayweather "said" that his fight with Cotto was his toughest, but do you think that is due to him not being in his prime?

Would a younger Cotto have won if he met Trout in his Prime? (Taking into account the P4P thing)

I don't like how Cotto acted like a lil girl who got fluids on her makeup and ran off as well....

              This was a good fight....regardless

Ginger should fight Trout....i'm taking Trout....

The truth is that the "superstars" for PPV are insulated by the promoters. A few of the younger fighters can beat them. That why Floyds zero don't mean as much. And Pacquaio is increasingly protected like hell........not sure how he will do against a young lion now.

That is why there is no comparison to this era to the Fab Four era. This era is weak.

in the old days he would fight at a higher weight due to not being able to rehydrate for a full day after the weighin.

his frame is very similar to Jake LaMotta.
