    I agree as well...

I don't think Floyd's legs are shot, I think that's the manner in which he's chose to operate from this point....

Mayweather's win sure doesn't look as good now as it did a few months ago. Trout beat Cotto just as decisively as Mayweather did minus the broken nose. Cotto was never as good at 154 as some made him out to be. Further, I don't know about you but I would love to see Mayweather v. Trout at 154; I think it would be a very competitive fight where Trout would provide a tough style match up for Floyd.

Floyd said he would fight this way before the first bell. He gave that particular reason. Nothing naive. Floyd said it and went out and did it.

Floyd's legs are fine. Guys who step into their jabs and swarmers can be challenging for him, the Oscar and Castillo fights showed you this. Cotto happens to jab like that and have swarming ability.

Would love it. Movement, southpaw, great jab, fundamentally sound, strong, natural 154 pounder. Trout has a better shot to beat Mayweather than any 147 pounder not named Pacquiao.

It's a testament Floyd is significantly undersized at 154 and can't bully an opponent.
It's also a testament for how Cotto is a little undersized for 154.

And a testament for Trout being quite good.

I've noticed that Floyd's name always pops up after every fights. I thought it was only on this boxing forum, but I've noticed the same thing on several other boxing forums as well.

I disagree with Cotto not being a JMW. You just can't say that now after 5 fights. So he's 3-2, so what? He most likely beats Bundrage, Delvin Rodriguez, chinny Kirkland, Angulo.

The guys who can beat Cotto at 154, is because they can beat him regardless. It's skill and style.

The only reason Cotto would do better at 147 right now is because the division is so god damn weak, there's only 4 good fighters there. Pacquiao, Bradley, Guerrero, and Devon. Marquez is a JWW.

Like if Mayweather is a full 154 pounder, yeah right, coming in at 150lbs. So why did Mayweather beat Cotto? Cause he's just better. That's all. I bet you Cotto could fight at 160 and beat a top guy there.

Styles make fights. Weights don't make a fighter.

If we're talking about 20-30lbs difference, or if someone is being weight drained, then we're talking.

I actually thought Cotto-Trout was very close. More competitive than Mayweather-Cotto. The scores were rightfully wide for Floyd. They were too wide for Trout. Cotto caught Floyd with some good jabs that he throws very well. But he caught Trout with a LOT of body shots and left hooks, something he wasn't able to do to Floyd.
