    Mayweather vs Alvarez or Berto/Guerrero?????

Which would be the better fight for a possible late Spring fight, Alvarez or the Berto/Guerrero winner???

I'm hoping for Mayweather-Pacquiao, but I won't hold my breath obviously. And it seems people have finally slowed their roll on Mayweather fighting Sergio, who's the Middleweight champion, who seems to not be fighting his own big challenges in his own division.

But personally if it's between those two options, I'd rather see Floyd fighting the Berto/Guerrero winner, who'd be coming off a good win and be a top ranked WW, than Alvarez who still has yet to get a good win yet.
    37
    Alvarez
    78.38%
    29
    Berto-Guerrero winner
    21.62%
    8

    The poll is expired.

I'd rather see Mayweather/Alvarez because of the size disadvantage, which will increase the difficulty for Floyd. Berto/Guerrero would be more "deserving" of a shot though. However, Ghost is still kinda new to the weight and Berto seems to have one foot out of the division already, dude is weight-drained imho. I won't be mad with either choice, but I'd rather the Berto/Guerrero winner face Alexander.

Not really big on either fight to be honest.

Let me see how Berto and Guerrero look tonight. If one of them wins impressively, I don't mind Floyd fighting one of them as a post jail tune up.

But right now I want to see the Canelo fight. It's got De La Hoya/Sweet Pea feel to it. The poor mans version at least.

I voted I would prefer the Mayweather-Alvarez fight. Floyd beat Ortiz with no problem and I think he beats Berto just as easily and Berto is who I expect to win tonight. Even if Guerrero surprises me and wins the fight with Berto I give him almost no chance to beat Floyd. I like Canelo and I think he could shock the boxing world and beat Floyd. As far as deserving a fight with Floyd goes, Canelo is an undefeated world champion who would make Floyd more money by far than the Berto-Guerrero winner so he deserves the fight as much as they do. Floyd has not said he will fight again but if he does fight again I think he will fight the Guerrero-Berto winner. He wants to keep his 0 and he knows Canelo is a harder fight.

neither. if your not going to fight the best, dont fight at all. and certainly dont claim your the best of all time and then refuse to fight the best. any so called boxing fan that buys either of them fights is a complete and utter idiot imo.

I think Cotto-Alvarez makes more sense than Cotto-Mayweather. Huge payday with a much bigger chance of winning. Alvarez doesn't need Mayweather to become a star, although if he were to beat Floyd it would take him to another level.

I am actually thinking Mayweather-Pacquio talks will seriously being if Manny beats Marquez. It sounds like they're both tired of everything and ready to get paid.

In some cases one has to fight, you do know that right?

Ugh, screw either of those fights. Unless Guerrero wins in crazy impressive fashion against Berto, Alvarez I guess.

yes i appreciate that, but whats the point? why be in this game if you dont want to test yourself against the best? its just money isnt it and as a fan id rather watch a competitive fight rather than watch a guy who is just there for the money.
