To stay sharp and ready, not a lot of opponents out there for Floyd that hardcore fans would be content with. Right now, at his age he needs to stay active.

But you are saying it yourself. Why is it so hard to understand that fighters want to earn money? What you would "rather watch" is completley irrelevant.

But that's not what he does. Floyd fights a guy that would be okay as a tuneup, and then disappears until the next time he fights a guy that would be okay as a tuneup.

he only fights once a year anyway. cant have constant tune ups. i mean what would he be tuning up to? another tune up! anyway, if he isnt fighting pacquiao or martinez next then im not interested.

Mayweather needs a dance partner to make a lot of money on his ring return. And Berto, Guerrero aren't one of them to bring in a lot of money. Canelo is the man to do that. Al Haymon advises both Mayweather and Berto and never puts his fighters in agains't each other. I like the Ghost to beat Berto tonight if he does and KO's Berto and That's a big if. I still wouldn't want to see him fight Mayweather.

That's how it gets seen once he performs, in fighting Mosley, Ortiz and Cotto he fought the guys he was suppose to going into those fights. Just because some of those fighters fell from grace shortly after does not discredit Mayweather's choice of opponent at the time.

well this is where ****** fans come in, why buy his fights if he is only there for the money and not fighting the best? some people will pay to watch any old crap and thats a problem.

Mayweather is his own worst enemy. I'm starting to think that he likes it that way.

There are only three credible opponents, the Pacquiao fight isn't happening so lets get real. Bradley is under the Top Rank banner so you can safely cross that out and Martinez isn't doing himself justice by campaigning at MW, if Martinez truly wants Cotto, Canelo or Mayweather than he should have moved down and made those options viable.

He isn't left with much to pick from. Always said it was either gonna be Danny Garcia or Guerrero if he's victorious tonight, big if.
