Joe Louis was great for his time, but he'd have a hell of a time trying to hit someone as big and defensive as Wlad. I think Louis was a much sharper puncher than Wlad, but the style Wlad brings, I think, would give Louis too many problems.

it'd be perfect for Louis, who was quantum precise coming forward, whilst Wlad tends to plod away in retreat whilst trying to land on small opponents with inferior chins, waiting till their appalling fitness leaves them open. But Louis has superior chin, unflappable stamina and great recovery, and unaffected by Wlad tactics he will pick up points all night against Wlad. Wlads best chance is to fight behind the inconsequential jab of his. By contrast, Wlad has proven track record of terrible recovery from precise lethal blows such as those Joe delivers all night.

Might even be a stoppage for Joe.
