So Eubank cant lie? Boxers do it all the time.. agents, managers do it.. if he said he got to semis of nyc gloves then maybe..but if he says he won the NYC GG then he is LYING. and back then it was referred to not as the suffolk county name you know it as now

All Eubank says in his autobiography is that he unexpectedly got to the semi-finals of the Golden Gloves with no trainer (what Golden Gloves he means I don't know) and then won the Spanish version. To get to the National Golden Gloves I'd of thought you'd have to win the New York Golden Gloves to qualify??

I told you before and I am telling you again that whatever site you are getting your amateur info from is way off... OK ? I told you Iran Barkley didn't go to the worlds in 82 and I am telling you that Eubank didn't have the amateur career here in the states they say he did... your info tells you he got a silver medal at the 1984 NYC GG at 139,losing to Aaron Davis in the finals. Well, I am here to tell YOU that it is a FACT that the 1984 139 pound NYC GG title at 139 pounds was won by John Wesley Meekins (NYC REC)and he beat David Colon of Suffolk City PAL in the finals to win it. Aiight, Killa? LOL. (What do you guys call that again? OWNED????)
