Okay, the Iran Barkley thing is the easiest thing to settle. Barkley supposedly won bronze at the World Games, which are NOT the World Championships. Simple matter of confusion or illiteracy.

    Settled.

DG, its not as simple as that with this guy... I am showing that he posts info from sites that is not debatable... it is wrong info but I GUARANTEE he wont accept it.

"1984 and after the guy who beat him got injured it was Eubank who went to St Louis for the national golden gloves. Eubank got to the finals of the golden gloves with no trainer. In december 84 he beat Dennis Milton in the final of spanish golden gloves to become number-one jr-middleweight in the USA after Frank Tate turned pro,Eubanks then quit boxing for a year despite many offers to turn pro. He finished with 26 amateur fights (19 wins,7 losses)."

LOL NO NO NO... Eubank didnt go to the finals of the nationals and he NEVER became number one in the USA..... NEVER!! I have every ranking list from 1985 for example... Eubank wasn't even in top 10. TRUST ME

Just so u know... there are MANY press agents etc that put out bad amateur info because they think people wont or cant look it up... I have seen guys amateur records listed at , say, 96- 8 and I know for SURE they lost at least 15 times. Pedro Fernadez the writer once said he lost in the 1984 US olympic trials... but, actually, he lost in the first round of the western trials.. and that is FAR from the same thing.

BOXING MONTHLY is abritish mag, no? Look...magazines dont know about amateur stuff..they get their info from THE FIGHTER AND HIS PEOPLE... I was turning pro and they asked me what my record was... I could have told them anything.. as a matter of fact, in 1989 I fought on usa TUESDAY NIGHT FIGHTS and Sean OGrady said I came off an amateur career that saw me beat U.S. Olympian ANTHONY HEMBRICK... that would have been grewat ifit werent for the fact that I never fought Hembrick. Don't believe all that you read.. UNLESS its from me cuz I know what the history is

WELL.... Eubanks couldn't get to the Nationals unless he went through a tournament... if he didn't fight in NYC gloves then he didnt go... and he didnt win them, I know this.... The spanish gloves in NY is just a local tournament that doesn't advance you anywhere. Te MAIN THING point here though is that JUYJUY keeps posting these amateur records of people and I am punching holes in them like swiss cheese

Says he won Bronze in 1982 in all the records of the World Championships I've seen. But maybe that was Virgil Hill and they got muddled up
