THE ORIGINAL FACT IS THIS... JUY came on here with his off-base amateru history and said, quote, that Eubank lost in the NYC GG finals at 139 pounds to Aaron Davis in 1984... and I proved to you that that info is WRONG. (Meekins won the title that year). I have every NYC GG program from finals night from 1979 through 1985.

I have been saying all along tht JUYJUY posts things that he either knows are not true, or just read somewhere...all the while hoping everyone on here does not have the means to refute what he says.

Scully busted him badly in this thread.

Well I guess Eubank himself is lying then, he even says in his autobiography how he unexpectedly got to the semi-finals of the Golden Gloves with no trainer and then won the Spanish Golden Gloves.

Why you make such a big deal out of it anyway??

                      heres what it says-
Eubank adapted well to the sport, and before entering the professional ranks, he got to the semi-finals of the ‘Golden Gloves’, and won the Spanish ‘Golden Gloves’.
