Lol we really don't know because he's so eager to trade with smaller guys because he knows they can't hurt him.

When he fights someone bigger who can hurt him, we have no idea how he'll react.

I could look at fights where Cotto got rocked and compare it to this potential one but in the end it doesn't mean anything.
He got rocked by a lesser fighter with lesser power.

it was at 147 so he was massively weight drained aswell and still didnt go down came back and won the fight./

It was at 150. And you do realize Canelo was a full fledged WW while Cotto's brother had a handful of fights at 147? Stop with the excuses.

If he has been fighting this whole time with no D and already has the bad habit, what makes you think it will change in 1 fight after he gets tagged once? I don't see it happening. I see him fighting the same way and getting KTFO.

That doesn't mean anything. I could say Cotto got rocked by Torres. Torres was a lesser fighter with lesser power. Does Torres rocking Cotto mean Canelo will do the same? No. Because it's was a totally different fight at a totally different time and at a totally different weight. It doesn't mean anything. Boxing does not work that way.

When Canelo beats Cotto it will be because Canelo is the better fighter and he knocked him out. Not because some guy happened to rock him or beat him back in the day.

Prime vs prime there's not much in it, but Cotto has had many more tough fights, taken more heavy shots, so Canelo's heavy hands will take their toll in the later rounds.

Cotto is one of my all time favourite fighters and I think this would be a great match up, style wise, at 150.
