Every one knows that Floyd is better than Cotto, but it's just how the rankings play out. Not many agreed with Nishioka's ranking in The Ring, including me, he wasn't no #1. The Ring has the best rankings, yet it still has flaws.

Then canelo public the news that he meet with golden boy and said that they won't fight till may and he wanted one of floid, martinez or cotto..he never fought nobody worth a damn
He never fought a top 300 p4p he have shameless resume and he os demanding the one and other top 10 p4p and more money fighter ..anyway..
Soo..the wbc then announce that they will give him the oportunity o f make aone voluntary defence of the tittle I been like baaaaa..these ppl are like a shameless gang..they work together to let this kid with the same promoter avoid the mandatory forever..now he is gonna face cotto for some belt and cash out..they plan if he win cash out ever higher pay day with money mayweather....soo lara acts like he knows canelo will avoid him..he will vacate that belt and not fight him ...he is gonna lose with cotto and lara will never fight him coming from a loss...lara said he don't think or count in that..he said the division is stack I fight somebody else..oscar talk to him -lara please let me win some money with the kid ..if you make him look silly and beat him bad I can't sell the kid no more..I promise you that I givr you good fights..bls bla bla bla......

I like how they say it clear ..one of the best fighters in the world..lara is getting used to the pro fight...every fight for lara was a step up..he will pull every fight..he will clean the division...he just need ppl knoe him more...he is gonna be very motivated..I feel lara is one of the best if not the best of the cuban pros..I like gamboa and rigo a lot too and I like they chances to greatness are close...war lara..nothing personal against this kid martirosyan but it's time to shine..win..and win good..this guys like the distance and lara have great outside game and lara fought williams who press a lot with good combos and lara timed him all night..I don't see vanes with nothing special to gain lara's respect...he get hit a lot . And lara have fast hands...war laraaaaaaa...my best wish for strength that day!!!..it's gonna be awesome...

I think it's interesting to hear this kind of talk from Lara, from other articles I've on the net it seems like he's not even passionate about boxing, but is just really good at it. (I could very easily be wrong)
But anyways I wish the Cuban trio got more love, I like watching Rigo, Gamboa, and Lara fight. Hope GBP isn't shortchanging Lara again, seriously the guy makes less then 10k a fight I read.

I like Lara....with so few fights he has fought some serious competition! When he called fighters out he meant it and followed up by fighting anyone who would accept a fight. Fun to watch too. I hope he goes a long way.

It's true, he doesn't really like boxing that much but no worries because he is a professional and he has a lot of ambition so he wants to be the best at his job and be able to provide for his family forever... he will not waste his talent.
It's not like Odlanier Solis, who's a boxing genius, maybe naturally the best cuban fighter p4p (with Rigondeaux), but doesn't like boxing at all and decided not to take it seriously and waste his god given talent.
Gamboa and Lara are the hardworkers, and combined with the fact that they are also very naturally gifted, they will go extremely far, p4p material.
Rigondeaux was born to box, he boxes better than he walks. He is a natural. But he is soooo confident on his talent that he doesn't go as far as the others with the training... a bit lazy, he doesn't lose weight for his fights (how many fighters fight at their natural weight today?), etc. but his talent allows him to be at the top anyway.
Solis, one of the most skilled heavyweights over the last decades, but he's like **** boxing, i prefer to eat whatever i want and go to long fishing trips with my friends...a HUGE waste of talent.Last edited by 537Bwouaye; 11-01-2012, 11:24 PM.
