Vanes doesn't want to talk trash because he's scared. Lara[or Lara's manager] verbally destroys all top guys. Even called out Pirog on his BS and Pirog turned down the fight. He's called a whole division p*ssy and no one responds to him. Vanes doesn't want none.

Cotto moves up to #1 for beating Trout[if he does beat him], Mayweather moves down to #2, Lara moves up to #3 for beating Vanes[he's #4 now], Canelo moves down to #4.

So according to The Ring rules, can't the #1-5 fight each other and become The Ring champion? For example, hypohetically speaking; May 2013: Cotto #1 vs Canelo #4, winner becomes Ring Champion?

if cotto beats trout and cotto/alvarez happened next, the ring would def put their belt up. gbp will make either cotto/alvarez or mayweather/alvarez before having him face his mando (lara/martirosyan winner) imo. i wish it was martinez that was next for alvarez, but that's more unlikely than him facing his mando, haha. we'll see what happens. my guess though is cotto/alvarez happens in early 2013 for the wbc/wba/ring belts, and then if alvarez wins, he faces either lara or mayweather in late 2013, depending on how the wbc goes about with their mandatory rules.

Are you comparing a fight that could have EASILY gone either way to a clear and decisive win where there was absolutely no doubt as to who won?

Ouma was in amazing shape, has triple the experience, and was very active at the time. Where as Molina, has had less than 20 profession fights and hadn't fought for OVER 2 YEARS before Lara.

I wouldn't bring up such a silly argument in the first place, every fight plays out differently and fighters have off nights, Lara just had a worse night.
