What has Manny Pacquiao been doing the whole time since moving to WW/JMW?Can't believe GRUSTLER dude believes in triangle theories. LOL. He's oozing with bias. He brings up his idol's win over Marquez to denigrate Pac. A fight riddled with weight issues and advantages on his idol's favor. Not only that, GRUSTLER dude forgets that styles make fights. JMM does well against aggressive fighters. He backpedaled all night in the Pac/JMM 3 and gave him an advantage which he wasn't able to do in the Mayweather fight. JMM himself complained, "floyd don't like to fight...floyd don't like to fight..." Meaning, he was forced to be the aggressor.
You want triangle theories? How about Pac demolishing Hatton in 2 rounds, while Floyd took him 10? Floyd got nearly dropped by Mosley while Pac made him run all night. Pac demolished Hoya while Floyd got punished before getting his SD. Pac stopped Cotto while Floyd got the beating of his life before winning by UD.Comment

Ok, so since I am bias towards Floyd because I always side with him then what does that make you who is always against him?The only thing you have exposed is a complete bias towards Floyd, same as ever, and can be borne out by the FACT that you nuance everything towards camp Floyd's favour.
Its naked bumsniffery, the content of every single one of your laughable, long winded and tiresome posts screams it.Comment

Oh really......
And if you don't believe me then here is the link.....
I have a feeling Segio is going to serve Paul Williams. The first fight, both had limited time to train for each other but Sergio was whupping on Paul busting him up. Paul Williams is always a live dog but Sergio to me is just better than Williams. Been looking forward to the rematch for a while now.

I like Shane Mosley but lets be real. Shane couldn't even KO an injured Luis Collazo 3 years ago. Not down playing Collazo but I like to stick to the facts. I don't question Shane'ss abilities but just feel like Floyd technical fight game, quick adjustments and ring generalship will be too much for Shane. Plus, Shane doesn't have a good record at beating guys who work the ring
and box.

I think Paul Williams punch out put will get him the UD against the counter puncher with lil power Wright. Williams chin is a lil too solid for Wright's minimum punching power so I feel Paul will be able to stand up to Winky and be the busier fighter and pull the win off.

Old 10-09-2011, 08:33 PM #40Listen, while Pac may win this fight because of him being comfortable because of the weight. By no means will he school or destroy JMM. JMM has a nightmarish style for Manny Pacquiao and Pac ain't known for being a 1 punch KO artist, so don't know what people are talking about him KO'n JMM in 6 rounds when he could not do it at his best weight in 24rds with 4 kd's. I'm taking the loss to Floyd at 144 with a grain of salt because Floyd is a different kind of fighter/boxer. JMM could not properly touch Floyd because of his size, reach and defense while Pac doesn't have any of them advantages over Juan Manuel Marquez. On top of that. Pac hasn't been fighting the toughest most competitive challenges in the division(s) so lets give Juan Manuel Marquez some credit for being the only fighter to make Pac have to go all out.
It's not size but skill and while Pac may be stronger at that weight, I think skill is what gets you through a fight and frankly JMM is a better boxer technically than Pac when he fights his fight and not Pac's. I know most are crying foul with this fight but I'm going to give JMM the benefit of the doubt because of his skill set and ability to make Manny have to fight. I'm actually looking forward to this match because am curious to see how it transpires.
Manny can be and probably is stronger than JMM at this weight but how can you base that he will annihilate JMM when all Manny has been fighting are guys slower than him with no defense or real boxing technicality? Also, basing Pac will flatten JMM over the fact that Floyd made JMM look useless at 144 is not good enough proof because JMM fought Floyd and no one looks good against Mayweather. May have moments but eventually gets shut down. I think if JMM hasn't been KO already then he won't be if he fights Manny smart instead of letting his nuts hang. Manny may indeed win but I'm not going to say he destroys JMM considering styles make fights and JMM has always had a style to bother Pacquiao.I think Lopez is going to try and fight smarter and change up a lil but he will revert back to Lopez from the first fight because he relies more on his power than anything else. He has not much technical fight game and it is too late in the game for him to be taught something different in my opinion. Salido is going to get him out of there in the 5th. All in all I'm going with Salido. Lopez won't hurt him. and can't out box him.Just the fact that Lopez keeps making excuses makes me believe that he is going to get beat up. He was a fan friendly fighter with marketability that was matched up perfectly to make him look greater than what he really is. He basically just relies on his punch and all Salido had to do is take that punch away and Lopez is beatable. These promoters are not doing their fighters any good by trying to keep them undefeated by having them not take the tougher challenges because once they lose..... they lose big and to Salido who has 11 loses. Totally monkey wrenched his rise. Now he's making excuses so if he gets beat again then we know he is just not the better fighter. Salido looks like he means business. Not believing he is going to let this slip out of his hands.I rest my case. Spot on predictions. Only one Myweather fight in here AND pretty dead on prediction at that. Same with Manny/JMM 3 along with the rest.It was a matter of time before Lopez was going to get beat. Top Rank was lining up all of them soft touches for him to look great but once he stepped up not even to the elite circle he got out boxed and beat. Been saying for the longest that these promoters protecting these young fighters like Canelo and Chavez Jr are not helping them get better and when they lose or time for them to lose. It will be against a fighter who is not popular but rather hungry and underrated. Watching their first fight you could tell Salido has the better skill set and can adjust better during the fight.Last edited by GRUSTLER; 11-02-2012, 04:29 PM.Comment

Many have but also many who could not. Why is this so hard to believe? You're acting like everyone wins fights moving up in weight?
List them but also list the ones who didn't win moving up in weight.Do we really need to list how many fighters in the history of boxing that have jumped from 135 to whatever weight and won, you moron? LMAO Are you really contesting a 5 lb jump in weight?
I know who Soto is and saw him fight briefly but he is nothing spectacular to put him up on a pedestal. Since you know more about him than me. Tell me who has he beat who was/is better than Danny Garcia at the moment?Have you ever seen Soto fight without going to boxrec?
Already responded to this.I know for a FACT, you've never seen Soto fight and solely use boxrec for your arguments. I know this for a fact you have no boxing knowledge outside of Mayweather-Pac and you're just a fraud.
Soto obviously has more wear and tear on him than a young guy like Garcia. On top of that. Garcia is a solid 140 fighter. While Soto and Garcia may have similar styles in your opinion. How can you compare them regarding a potential fight with Matthysse when Garcia is the top guy and 140 and Soto moved up unsuccessfully. I'm sure the move up played a factor beginning with him not bringing his power up with him. Garcia is KO'n guys at 140 Soto didn't and hasn't.Oh wait, "Soto lost 7 times before the year 2000 and only loss twice in the last 13 years so that means he can't be compared stylistically to Garcia because Garcia is undefeated".
Don't think so.LMAO @ this incompetent loser.
First off you spelled "Beanie Siegel" wrong and 2nd..... Beanie Siegel is going to jail for a while so you are quoting a clown and therefore it makes you a clown for doing so.Bieney Siegal said it the best:
"Some n***** don't know that they be clowns" haha fits you perfectly.Comment

If any other fighter coming off a controversial win over a 38 year old Marquez and a loss to Bradley demanded $40 million for a fight, you all would grill him. Take the biggest pay day of your life and make the fight Manny. He can't because by Floyd providing his guarantee, it cuts Arum out the deal of eating off the PPV money. Oh well...get past JMM in December.Comment

The only prediction there that was even remotely worth bragging about is the Pac/Marquez 3 one. Every other one was just picking the obvious favorite.Oh really......

That's ****** you know the only reason he gets guys to agree to catch weights is because he's in his 8th weight class. Why play dumb everyone knows that. Take hoya for example. You damn well he had to jump 3 divisions and people thought he was going to get killed. Why the revisionist history?Comment
