No need to say it. Mayweather is a known avoider of threats.

This fight barely matters to me at this point.
some fans dont realize is that just bc they dont care as much about it doesnt mean it stil wont brak records
look at current records holder - Mayweather v de la hoya. de la hoya wasnt even a top 10 lb 4 lb fighter at that point. it has to do with popularity, and Pacquiao is maybe even more well-known and popular now than he was in 09. the fight wouldnt be between the fighters at their prime like it wudve been in 09, but still the biggest, well known boxers over the past 5 yrs, by far, not even close. May not get 3 mil PPV, but would still break the records and get 2.5 in my humble opinion

he has canelo, martinez, or berto/ghost winner. Pac and TR have no one else.

Floyd was never within Pernell reach IMO

canelo, martinez, etc. would be fight fans fights...none of those guys have the worldwide crossover $ pacquaio brings to the table...at least pacquaio is fighting the few options he has left, while waiting for floyd mayweather...

canelo and martinez are not from the US. Martinez just met the president of Argentina and canelo is a major draw in both the states and mexico. Seems like both have worldwide crossover appeal to me.

Floyd is waiting for the Berto/Guerrero winner.

he'l never fight Martinez; ghost /berto winner realy isnt worthy of fighting him but that's probably who it'l be bec I actually think he may try tu duck Canelo bc canelo is gettin better evry fight and is naturally bigger than floyd.
if floyd dont fight canelo next, he'l see him beat Cottos ass, then he'l duch canelo too

although, if its not Pac or Martinez - which he wont challenege himself vs one of them, it should be canelo

Do u think bob cares that what if manny loses to Floyd even tho bob is gonna make millions off that fight? U guys make it seem like bob is broke and manny is all that he has. Get out of here with that crap! If Manny calls it quit tomorrow bob and top rank will still keep on pushing.
If Manny were to retire today, of course it wouldn't sink toprank. Life goes on but it'll be a while before they can buildup another cash-cow. You're telling me that Arum will be able to find someone that can generate the kind of money Manny does for him right now? I don't think so. Arum plays the public and media to his benefit. This is the same guy that claimed he offered Cotto 13million to rematch Pacquiao at catch-weight.

Cotto told Dan Rafael of ESPN “The only offer Top Rank ever made us was the same money in 2009…We found it kind of funny. That was the reason we decided not to face Pacquiao. That, and they also wanted me to go down to 150 lbs and give him [Pacquiao] the same advantage that they gave Pacquiao in 2009, a catchweight.”

This is the same guy wont let anyone outside of Toprank face Manny without signing a TopRank promotional contract. Yeah sure, Arum wants to add to Mayweather's success.
