yes he is and I he will be much better after Rigondeaux fight, whatt he will do next will validate Rigondeaux win, you guys are doing the same thing you did with casamayor and one of these days you are going to be right, in Casamayor case was when he hit almost 40 and way past his prime.

In today's boxing.... that means nothing.
All you have to do is be rated in the top 15 of the organization's phony rankings

Rigo is better than that, he won't be "exposed" as such. But I don't like people calling him champion. His about as much of a champion as Alvarez is, or Jr was before he stepped up competition. Rigo is better than them all but he isn't in the same league as Donaire. Donaire beats him.

So every fighter who fights in a championship fight is a championship level fighter?

So all the unranked bums Joe Calzaghe fought were championship level fighters all along? No?

Or does one thing apply for Rigondeaux and not the other?

i don't care in the least about the belts. that you mention a man as both a champion and a prospect says enough.

Interim belt's aren't real belts, though.

I always viewed the "interim" title as the official number one contender essentially. I don't know if that's how the organisations do it though.
