Race is also a big factor in these countries, who's that dominican or puerto rican celebrity who bleached his face?

Sammy Sosa? Its funny that people like you who never been there or lived there repeat what you hear. How do you know race is a big factor? Why are so many PRs hyped about Dulorme if he's black?

Your right race is a factor, but its al political, your referring too Sammy Sosa, but it didn't get like that, until Sammy Sosa came over here. He just recently bleached his face, once again it was he came to this country. Michael Jackson rings a bell. Other countries take from our countries. United States labels everyone, and to deny it is ludicrous.

So what do you think about what he did?

And I also know people from there and people who've been there. I know a girl who grew up in DR, her mother forced her to straighten her hair and her father put white powder on her face when she was little. They clearly embrace the european beauty standard.

You know there are still racial problems in latin countries but a lot of people from these countries are in denial. Don't act like it's a racial paradise over there.

Because every time Tito is mentioned his referenced as Puerto Rican, but your standards and others, Tito is black. When you look at my skinned of course I'll be labeled black, but my hair is straight, and I have distinctive features. My ancestry is Trinidadian /Spanish/Indian. So all dark skinned individuals are black? What about the hind indians Also I know, I'm Trinidad, family from the island Tobago, which has a deep Indian ancestry, not Native American, but Hindu Indian, sure you have dark skinned people in other cultures. I know hindu is a religion. also is ghandi black? But my people, are labeled Trinidadian not black Trinidadian. Are the lighter skinned individuals in South Africa called white Africans?
Yes you would call a South African of european descent a white south african.

You are confusing race and nationality for some reason being Cuban is not a race no more than being from the U.S or England is a race.

I'm not trying to play with words here, but I really don't agree that Rigo has been "hurt" in his professional career. I, myself, have expressed concern about Rigo's ability to take a good punch, based on the Cordoba jab and the Marroquin shots. Guille was obviously affected. However, I don't believe "hurt" is the proper description.

In my eye, a fighter is hurt when he is visibly disoriented. Very often, a tell-tale sign is that he'll immediately clinch and hold on for dear life. Rigo hasn't displayed any such signs. Against Cordoba, he resorted to the amateur strategy of evading and relying on the prior accumulation of points to win. Against Robert, he was rocked, but immediately recovered and continued to fight without lingering effects.

Rigondeaux is quality. He might not reach the heights of a Mayweather, but he has comparable natural talent. It always seems whenever someone is hyped as much as Guillermo has been, people seek to point out the slightest perceived flaw. Time will tell who's right.
