no I disregard what you post because it doesn't seem like you know muc about the sport. there are a ton of posters that dont like floyd whom I respect and debate all the time. who you like is not impotant to me. that you follow the sport and kn ow something about it is.
if you think SRL won, well most people did. obviously, in a close fight all of us are more likely to think our guy won. and , I hate SRL with a passion, so i am definitely biased regarding that fight. but I never said hagler got robbed.
if you say castillo may have won a close fight, ok. but to call it a robbery, like sweet pea ramirez or IMO mannyibradley, well then you clearly have an agenda.Last edited by The Big Dunn; 10-24-2012, 03:35 PM.Comment

Way, way, way out of context.Let me try and get the gist of this:
Genaro Hernandez - no respect
Diego Corrales - no respect
Jose Luis Castillo - no respect
DeMarcus Corley - no respect
Arturo Gatti - no respect
Zab Judah - no respect
Oscar De La Hoya - no respect
Ricky Hatton - no respect
Juan Manuel Marquez - no respect
Shane Mosley - no respect
Victor Ortiz - no respect
Miguel Cotto - no respect
Saul Alvarez? - mmmm, maybe he'll get some respect.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Yeah, right.
Yes, when you try and compare Floyd to Sugar Ray Robinson with wins against those fighters, at those particular moments in their career, not a good move. Those fights on their own merit are fine. Although post Corralles, those fights were very well strategized, AKA cherry picked.
At this moment in time. I won't complain about this fight, before it happens, or even after it happens. There won't be any strings attached with this fight. Although many posters will say he's green, not tested, etc. I will give him total, full, complete credit for this fight.Comment

I realized theirs no point in debating about Floyd with a Floyd stan, so I don't waste my time with posters like yourself.
You may add a few extra words. but really all I see is blah blah blah, "your not A Floyd stan, so I don't like you!"

especially 1 that thinks he has more "boxing knowledge" then everyone else. probably with zero fight experience to boot.Comment

I think Canelo's performances against Lopez and Hatton really underline the fact that he has the credentials to beat Floyd.....and Pacquiao. He'd probably KO Martinez in 1 as well. Then go up and unify super middleweight before clearing out LHW & Cruiserweight divisions. He'd then finish his career at heavyweight.
I agree. I think Cotto beats Canelo at the moment, but it'll be interesting to see how he looks against Trout. Part of me thinks that if Miguel destroys Trout, Canelo won't take the fight in May, because he's being moved along so slowly and carefully and seemingly without risk(or with as little risk as possible).Comment

I know right. I picture the guy in the mirror, in his Floyd shoulder roll pose. Then in a real fight, fights like Mayorga, minus punching power, and stamina.Last edited by timboslice708; 10-24-2012, 03:46 PM.Comment
