if floyd fights canelo

Canelo is the 2nd/3rd best option for Mayweather, so I'll give him credit. However, it isn't a legacy match because Canelo is still unproven. Floyd will have to hope that Canelo goes on to have a solid career for the W to mean anything in the long-term.

agreed, canelo would be tough for him and i'll give him 100% full credit but he'd get more from me for fighting pacquiao or martinez. saying that though i bet his next opponent will be alexander or berto

the only time floyd has a tough time with mexicans is when he is trying to get a cab. I don't think Canelo is the best fight for floyd right now.

But I honestly think he will have problem with canelo just cause, canelo is tough, decent speed and young and not to mention a big 154 with some skills. Mayweather it about that time for him now, any one of these fights can be his day.
