Floyd would get all credit from me if he did. Canelo would give him a tough time imo, especially as floyd is visibly less mobile now.

floyd beating canelo will be just as good as martinez beating chavez jr...would just be exposing another hype job.

not liking floyd doesn't mean he lost Castillo 1. it means castillo lost a close fight and you just can't get over it.

But I honestly think he will have problem with canelo just cause, canelo is tough, decent speed and young and not to mention a big 154 with some skills. Mayweather it about that time for him now, any one of these fights can be his day.
if you don't then you are ****** or pretending to be ******.

I always thought Canelo would be the 1st to beat floyd. But I assumed the fight would be at a point where Canelo had more experience.

You see. This is the notion that I don't get. In what world is Canelo as unskilled as Cahvez Jr.???

He's shown me enough to say that he's ready. I've seen him hurt, and I've seen him come back. I don't think he can improve so drastically from here on out. He is what he is. A technical counter punching, boxing/puncher. If he's going to fight Floyd, might as well use what got him to the top. Big changes aren't really needed.

Plus Floyd is a lot slower now, and doesn't use his feet as much. This is the best time for a Canelo fight.

i just look at it as canelo hasn't done anything significant at 154lbs or in almost his entire career...he looks great against shot/smaller/over matched opponents, but so what? he hasn't been tested at the top level yet...if he dominates a guy like cotto or some other top 154lber next then yah it would justify a floyd vs canelo fight.. but at the moment i need to see him in there with someone like cotto, lara vs vanes winner, kirkland, or angulo next...just someone credible! i can't base things solely on how they perform in the ring. canelo is all hype to me right now unless he beats someone credible next...

whoa, lets not start disrespecting each other now. Keep it civil my friend.

So you are saying Mexicans are cab Drivers and Mayweather rides in taxi cab? Not boxing related but okay.
