Rios style is exactly what Pacquiao's team, and Pac himself want because it's easy for him.

Ask yourself what sounds more competitive, Pacquiao vs Canelo or Pacquiao vs Rios? Who would you give a better chance at winning, Canelo or Rios? Canelo's the better fighter.
So fighting a bigger but still unproven green champion is greater than fighting a proven never say die fighter ?

I dont think i buy that.

This exactly. This is a biased as hell thread but, no one but fanboys who want to see Pac pound a guy from smaller weight classes puts any weight in that fight. It'll be exciting for however short it is. Canelo may be untested but he seems the overall better fighter by far, and is a much bigger guy than Floyd. You know what you get with rios who would have to move up in weight, and you know it's a loss. If pac fought Canelo it'd be a pretty good match-up I give canelo a better chance to beat pac than floyd. If floyd fought Rios no one would want to see that massacre.

Apparently boxing is all about seeing a guy get blown to pieces these days then watching an actual fight.

Pacquiao-Rios would be Pacquiao-Margarito all over again, a smaller Margarito. Why would any one to see that again? Put Rios in more competitive fights like Garcia, Matthysse, Maidana, Lopez, Soto, Alvarado rematch, Olesegun, lots of fights out there for the guy. Why embarrass him with a Pacquiao beating at 147? I have a feeling Canelo would not get nearly the big beating Rios would get from either May or Pac.

Canelo May has more credibility. But May will b back in carceration in no time with Canelo's curse.
