Since you mention 140 then I'd say Rios vs Pac. But you'll never get a clear answer, Floyd fanboys vote for their boy and Pac fanboys do the same.

140 should be definitely where PAC/rios should happen. 147 will be a meaningless
        fight for sure.

Rios got battered and was getting his head snapped back by a guy with less skill, speed, and power then Pacman has. He was losing regardless of what uncle Bob's scorecards said. Manny would make the fight look like Mayweather vs Gatti. At no point would Rios be in the fight, and since his trainer doesn't care about his fighters well being, Manny would be forced to damn near kill the skill-less zombie in the ring. Mayweather vs Red is closer to being an actual contest.

Pacquiao is not a proficient inside fighter like Alvarado, and I don't agree that Pac hits harder than Alvarado either. When was the last time you saw Pacquiao fight in a phone booth? Rios has leaky defense, but I don't think Pac will be able to dish it out for 12 rounds like he did against Margarito. Rios has a sturdy chin and a very strong will to win. That alone will make for an exciting fight. Regardless of how flawed Rios may be, I can't write him off.

Who has got inside PAC well enough to batter him and stay there? Rios walks like he is underwater. No way does he trap Manny into an inside phone booth style fight. I also believe he hits harder then Alvarado because you can see a lot of Mikes punches coming. Rios won't see Manny's shots. Manny has far too quick hands and feet to give Rios a chance. Manny would have his face looking like a bloody mess very early. If this fight gets made I'll bet anyone who wants it that Rios won't win three rounds.

Rios vs Pacquiao based on their resumes. Canelo needs to beat a top 10 JMW.

I think they are both good fights. I voted for the Canelo-Mayweather fight. I don't think Mayweather would be cherrypicking at all. That would be the WBA 154 champ against the WBC 154 champ. Canelo has been a pro for 7 years and he has won 41 fights with 30 KOs so he is not that green. Rios has one good win at 140 and he looked bad in the fight before that. I think Rios' style and poor defense make him a KO loser in an exciting but one sided fight. I think Canelo has a better chance to beat Mayweather than Rios has to beat Pacquiao. I have never seen Rios or Canelo in a bad fight so either fight would be well worth watching. Just my opinion.
