Manny would have his face looking like a bloody mess very early. If this fight gets made I'll bet anyone who wants it that Rios won't win three rounds.
I know Rios is a plodder, this should make him easy pickings for Pac, but I'm not convinced that Pac will be able to go beast-mode on him. Pac is faster than Alvarado, but I don't think he "hits harder". Pac relies on speed/angles to hurt his opponents and his volume leads to disfigurement, while guys like Maidana/Rios/Matthysse/Alvarado are just naturally heavy-handed. I'm not saying Pac isn't capable of hurting Rios, but it's gonna take much more than what Pac is gonna be willing to dish out. He isn't getting any younger, and Rios only has to land one overhand right during an exchange to change the complexion of the fight. Rios won't be weight-drained at WW, he's gonna be 100%.

It's a bad style match-up for Rios, but I believe that he could overcome that.

Canelo at least is naturally bigger than Floyd and more used to the weight they're gonna be fighting at... Also, he has real power

Say what u will about the potential excitement of Pac/Rios, but if u don't consider that a cherry pick, its only because u wish Manny Pacquiao popped ur cherry

Rios/Pac. At least Rios beats guys in his division.

Rios has proven himself much more but i guess that since he's in a lower weight and a brawler, people dont see it as "credible"

Rios has beaten 6 ranked opponents just about all were at their "peak" or close to it while Canelo has faced only 1 ranked opponent and a ton of past it 140 and 147 fighters

I won't vote in your asinine poll. However, I will say that the fight that will secure the most PPV buys will be Mayweather/Canelo by a 2:1 margin. If these fights happen, Mayweather/Alvarez will draw around 1.2 million PPVs and Pac/Rios will draw about 600,000, which is about the same number that Pac sold against Bradley. Mayweather/Pac will also draw a bigger gate and fill more seats even though you claim it is a cherrypicking fight. And despite what you are inclined to believe, the hight numbers won't be because of Alvarez because Alvarez can't draw worth a damn on PPV.

man floyd fighting Canelo is the definition of a cherry pick fight. it is more a cherrypick than him fighting victor ortiz.

Its in there with his past prime cotto and JMM cherrypick.

So you watch boxing because of PPV sales? good for you.

Mayweather-Canelo, no brainer. Canelo is stylistically a good match, and he's big, powerful, he's not reckless and can box.

Rios style is exactly what Pacquiao's team, and Pac himself want because it's easy for him.

Ask yourself what sounds more competitive, Pacquiao vs Canelo or Pacquiao vs Rios? Who would you give a better chance at winning, Canelo or Rios? Canelo's the better fighter.
