That's why I think his next fight will be against either Pac or someone we don't think about right now. It will have to be someone Floyd would care to come back against.

You do know that Pacman has a fight on December, right? You mean Floyd will just wait for several months and sit on his vacationing ass while Pac has to go through another war and tear.

I don't think Alvarez qualifies for that, personally, unless he goes beast mode on the division over the next 8 months.

You do know that Team Mayweather was already in negotiation with Team Khan even before Khan's fight with Garcia, don't you? (Links are all over the place for that.) You also know Floyd fought Ortiz. Having seen Vic's fights in totality as well as Khan's, you don't really think Ortiz and Khan are more qualified than Alvarez, do you?

Manny and his smoke and mirror act already booked a fight date for April 2013 and Martinez is injured....I think it pretty obvious its going to be Mayweather vs Canelo on the May 5th weekend.

Sup old timer, Manny booked to earn a re-match with Bradley in April. Manny can't fight in May 2013 because, he has a cut that needs 6months to heal...i mean, they need a huge Vegas stadium which takes time to make. No. He was saying when Floyd fought Ortiz, he had some solid wins. He should have gotten the W over Peterson and had just beaten the #2 WW Berto.

Had Khan beaten Garcia, he'd have wins over Malignaggi/Maidana/Judah/Garcia and arguably a win over Peterson. He'd have solid wins, but Khan lost anyway.

Alvarez has no solid wins yet. He doesn't get a Floyd fight in my opinion until he beats Cotto/Trout, and than a Kirkland/Molina/Lara or something.
