The least dangerous opponent he can get away with, who has a title or something. Thats why Floyd dont make any announcements he has his eye out for who that person is. He isnt sure himself thats why he dont reveal anything.

That not very dangerous fighter with something Floyd wants may not be available or exist right now.
But when that someone does come up on the market Floyd presses the buy button.

Remember, he didn't have the same conditioning coach back then.
So its more of marquezs bad training, then floyds 2lbs

I agree. It's either going to be Guerrero, or Canelo.

Canelo seems keen on a Cotto fight next, though. Cotto also said he's interested in fightign Canelo (after Trout, of course, which is far from a given).

I really wouldn't be all that pissed at this fight. I'd much rather see him fight somebody new, than Cotto again.

To be fair, JMM was highly motivated against Pac and learned from his mistakes against Floyd but you also have to remember against Floyd JMM was the aggressor, he was trying to make it a fight.

Pac is easy he's always come forward and follow.

As for Floyds next opponent, who knows, probably someone who has come off a nice win, hype train Ortiz is now just a bad memory. Possibly Berto?

Actually, I would like for this to be Floyd's next fight, he can then work from there. ****** to think he should face Canelo, Martinez after living in isolation and being unable to do any physical activity besides push ups. Besides all that this is a good fight in my opinion.

Since Pac is tied up with what will be another gift against Marquez, I'd like to see Floyd either fight Martinez or a solid warm up.

Floyd needs to be more active.

Yes.... because Floyd has been fighting smaller guys like Cotto, Mosley and Ortiz.
