This fight would end in Darch getting KOd during one of his pattoned windup lefts but up until then his pressure and odd movements could turn Rigondeaux tentative and weary to let his hands go if there is one ting about Vic it's his confidence and willingness to engage

Rigondeaux has shown he'll let his hands go more since the Cordoba fight and Darchinyan would be the best fighter he's faced as of yet

Vic vs. Rigo? No thanks. Boxers have a relatively easy time with Vic, and Rigo is one of the best pure boxers in the game.

That's enough to pose questions worth answering. Not saying Rigo won't turn out to be everything he looks like he can, but he needs some opp that gets him going that direction. Darch has the name and chops to be a good test of where he is and where he's going.
I agree with most of your post, but the knock down against Cordova was a flash one, Casamayor dropped Guerrero in the same fashion neither of them was hurt, against Marroquin a young hungry kid with nothing to lose, he was caught once the other time he was off balance, so what? The kid can punch and I think his future fights will make Rigondeaux win look better, but he needs names on his resume and not too many are stepping to the plate, lets c what happens with agbeko calling him out, he maybe ask for too much...

I wasn't talking about all Rigo fans since I'm a fan myself, I was talking about the Rigo TARDS. But hey if the shoe fits.

And the difference is, I'm not saying Canelo is a top P4P fighter and he would destroy everybody.

I think Donaire could end up fighting Rigondeaux, because I doubt Top Rank would make Donaire-Moreno, if Moreno in fact beats Mares.

you're so naive...top rank already tried to make that fight before. moreno declined the fight for whatever reason...look it up.

That offer was hollow and Donaire wasn't on board (he was trying to break his contract and it all went to court) while Moreno was going through a big issue with his camp. He was quoted saying he might want it in a fight or two around the time he wanted to finish the fight or two he knew he was stuck with. It had zero chance of happening then given the Donaire-Top Rank legal issue or the Moreno promotional/management issues.

Doubting it could happen now because of the TR/GBP issue isn't naive at all. Just reality. I doubt either fighter would be opposed if the timing was right.

Darch is not going to just let Rigo do what he likes which is stand in the center of the ring wait on counters and pot shot without creating his own offense, he will make Rigo very uncomfortable crowding him from bell to bell. It would be interesting to see how Rigo handles the awkward pressure.

                  I agree 100%

Darchinyan might be passed his best but hew ill still ask him questions, no doubt.

I think that is what some miss on the suggestion. Most can agree Rigo would be favored, but someone like Vic (or Agbeko etc.) is critical in getting to a point where some of what is assumed about Rigo can start being proven against proven comp.

                    It's a good match.

Rigo has to start fighting better opponents eventually. He can't be a tomato can crusher forever.
