For any cult to grow, there needs to be a moment that can be pointed to as revelatory. It won’t be universally embraced. The skeptical will point to what flaws exist in the new tenets of the faith. For the cultists it will be more than enough to cry blasphemy.

One of boxing’s growing hardcore cults is the following surrounding WBA 122 lb. titlist Guillermo Rigondeaux. There is good reason for that. One of the great amateurs ever produced by the legendary Cuban program, Rigondeuax has shown off excellent timing, bursts of power, and crafty defense. [Click Here To Read More]

Totally agree with the writer. Fighters these days are a bunch of name droppers. What happened to earning your shot? Anybody can call somebody out, but if you go out there and beat a Darch, Mares, and Adbeko then Nonito cant duck you. And it makes it a bigger fight with Nonito.

      Make it happen.

Would be the toughest fight of Rigondeaux's career by a wide margin.

Rigo will eat Darch up man. Vic gets one win against an inexperienced fighter and now he can whip Rigo, naaaa

I would love to see Rigondeaux get Darchinyan or Agbeko next.

Can't wait to see who Rigo will fight next, I'm sure that it'll be a notable opponent. Arum only has so many prospects that he can throw in the ring with Rigo. What, is he gonna make Rigo fight Jesse Magdaleno next? lmao

Terrazas/Darchinyan/Agbeko/Montiel, make one of those happen.

If they're making Bradley-Peterson II in Miami, I hope they put Rigo in with someone that's good for December 15. I really think Rigondeaux-Agbeko could be next.

I hope Agbeko isn't next. He would be a step-up in name value, but he's coming up in weight (i know it's only 4lbs) and coming off a legit loss. I'd rather Darchinyan over Agbeko.
