Sure Floyd could have done more there is no denying that, but it doesn't change the fact that what he has done is impressive and aside from Manny there are not great fighters that he missed merely solid good ones which would add to his career but isn't some great travesty that he missed them.
why fight martinez when you can fight austin trout! same thing basically right? he can't fight everybody! copy paste this for future use.

I see. So Mosley was still "dominating" the division in 2010/11? And Margarito was as well when Manny fought him? Even though they didn't fight at welter? And Williams too? Oh wait...

It would help your debating to not get so hung up on ****** stuff and exaggerate to a great degree.

They are good fighters, just like the guys you wanted Floyd to fight. Sorry you are too blind to see that, actually you are not blind you just don't bother to look because someone else told you differently.

If Austin Trout beats Cotto? Austin Trout would have done way more at 154 than Martinez. I thought you cared about dominating a division.

I do think Floyd would fight Martinez over Trout though for a few reasons. If it came down to that.

That's absurd. Floyd holds a belt at 154. Boxrec has Floyd listed as 5"8' and Sergio at 5"10'. Sergio has fought most of his career at 154. He was a small middleweight when he moved up. If Sergio can make 154 again he has every right to challenge Floyd. If Floyd doesn't want to fight people at that weight class then give up the belt. Otherwise defend it. I bet you didn't complain when people moved up in weight to fight Floyd. By the way I'm a Floyd fan too and I know he'll beat Pac when and if they fight. I'm just calling it how I see it. Sergio is a threat to anyone at 154 and people know it.

You know that wasn't true. You can't be that gullible to believe that a guy who weighed in at 151lbs would somehow dehydrated to 147lbs on fight night.

I don't buy that either. I suspect a one or two pound swing upwards is more likely.

I would say he weighed the same, I don't see why he would gain all that much if he weighed in at 151, maybe 152.

Although Floyd was apparently under the weather (Mulvaney and Rafeal have no reason to lie about him not sounding like himself) so if he was in fact sick he could have lost weight due to lack of appetite or um issues related to being sick.

Still I would say 151, no reason to believe he moved much.
