i was referring to them as a collective group obviously. 2006-2009 where was floyd? fighting guys not in the division and retirement.

Yeah, PWill tried getting Margs to fight him again, guess what Margs was doing? Yeah, completely ignoring a chance at redemption in order to fight DLH. Be consistent about your complaining, don't pick and choose when it's viable for you.

haha man, gotta love Sergio "the poet" Martinez.

After watching the interview, he was only joking about breaking Floyd's bones (if that wasn't already obvious), but he did say he's coming for him 2013. It was a respectful call out, I would love to see this fight. Get 'em Martinez!!!

pac and cotto were the biggest fights in boxing. floyd didn't want any. good try on the "they are businessmen" angle

See you have it twisted, I don't care who anyone fights really. I just watch what happens, enjoy that and then judge on what actually occurs. I can form an opinion based on what I think will happen in other fights that didn't occur but those are just opinions, sorry that those views seem to cut you deeply.

I am sorry that finding Floyd's career impressive is some big affront to you and I am sorry that I don't find the competition he missed that impressive sure he could have done more in his career but I don't see anyone he needed to fight that he missed with the exception of Manny and there are a multitude of reason on both sides why that fight hasn't happened.

Keep trying though cupcake~ maybe you will get my take right sometime soon.

That's like saying Gomez beat Gatti was impressive?

Lol Gatti was not even a champion at the time, and he was coming off a loss. Gatti was really on the slide, his career was over. Mayorga at least went on to beat Vargas and fight competitively against Mosley until Mosley stopped him. So no, saying DLH was coming off an impressive win over Mayorga, is not like saying Gomez win over Gatti was impressive.

Let me ask you a question, Miguel Cotto is a faded fighter ans easy win right? So will he be an easy win for Austin Trout?

Or are these only easy wins for Floyd?

you've been defending floyd for avoiding people in the last couple posts but now you are attacking margarito for turning someone down? do you know what irony is?

this says it all really. maybe you should care? floyd takes advantage of suckers like you and fights cherry picked opponents because people "just watch what happens"

Cotto was a bigger fight than De La Hoya and Hatton, are you serious?

Sure the fight could have happened in 2008, and Floyd retired. But it was not that serious. Williams beat Margarito, then shortly loses to Quintana. Cotto went on to lose in the summer to Margarito, then Margarito went on to lose to Mosley months later, and then Mayweather fought him a year later.

None of these guys stayed consistent. None of them put together a string of good wins in 2008-2009, they all lost. Floyd fought the best possible opponent from those guys, which was Shane Mosley.

Don't even mention anything about 2007, Oscar De La Hoya was hands down the biggest money fight for Floyd, followed by Hatton, given the circumstances[Cotto being Top Rank].
