why the hell ortiz would want to get with frauddy roach? he can't teach anything. he's riding on pacquiao's coat-tail. pac,khan,and julio HIGHvez jr all lost their last fights.roach couldnt box when he was fighting so how can he train that way.he knows nothing about making adjustments.

I don't know if that move would be wise for Ortiz. Floyd Sr is good at molding fighters from a young age. That's why Floyd Jr is so good. But he doesn't bring to the table what Ortiz needs right now as a fighter. Victor needs someone like Teddy Atlas, a no nonsense type of guy and a motivator. Victor needs someone to push him. The skills that Floyd Sr teaches has to be taught at a young age.

Ask yourself if teddy atlas has ever improved the career of a fighter.

This forum is full of suburb sissies who never had a fight in their life. If they were punched in the face by a random they would cry for help and not fight back. They dont understand hood ****. Victor brought out the hood side of Floyd that night and he is also too dumb to realize it because he thought they were going to hug and makeup and pretend like he didnt just intentionally foul floyd multiple times.

this is purely a business decision for dela hoya. he gets word out that one of his fighters, ortiz, is on a comeback and will be trained by the same person who was also dela hoya's second back then, mayweather, sr. he knows first hand what mayweather, sr. has to offer and what one of his assets, ortiz, so badly needs, defense to protect that glass of chin his. after all, dela hoya does have some sense to protect his investment.

people completely disregard the possibility that ortiz would've continued this juvenile behavior until being DQ'd, but there's zero chance of Cortez DQ'ing him unless he had done it quite a few more times
