Given Chavez record Martinez has ground to request this.

Smart move by Sergio & his team.
The NSAC is notorious in regards to testing in regards to testosterone, & I put a post about it here:
        http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=566066

Probably should of set the conditions that Chavez Jr must submit to random testing atleast once anytime from a month before the bout & immediately after by the same people who do the testing for the IOC plus a 2nd independant university lab, as that would be impossible to dodge.
Offer the same conditions for himself to take the sting out of it, & to give no excuses to Chavez Jr's team & supporters.

The most likely use that critics of Chavez point to, is in using diuretics to cut weight & testosterone to maintain strength while he does so, as well as ensuring that when he rehydrates he maintains muscle tone instead of bloating up with water-fat, as would be normal in that situation, ie. rapidly putting back on 20-30 pounds.

Your a Pactard obviously. So you are against any kind of testing.

LOL I wonder how it feels to get your ass handed to you by a "Ballerina"

Chavez Jr got all the props in Texas so Martinez would be a jack ass not to get leverage going into another fight with a guy that skips out on his piss tests and refuses to get his gloves weighed. After Martinez beat this kid up, he goes and fails a piss test? Was only Marijuana but could have or be much worst. Only a jack ass would think it is wrong for Martinez to ask for extra test going into a rematch that is not really necessary on unfamiliar turf. We all know Jr is one of the most pampered fighters because of his pops. WBC president was upset that he didn't get a chance to pick the judges. Come on man..... get a clue.

So you have no problem knowing that boxers take illegal substances/drugs as long as it doesn't affect their performance in the ring?

What you have said is, "If a rematch is easily won by Martinez, I have no problem knowing Chavez may or may not use illegal substances and do not want that question answered."

                    Next please!

rematch ?? for what? he dominated the fight...did Arthur Abraham ask for a rematch when he lost a lop-sided unanimous decision to Carl Froch? NOPE...did Senchenko ask for a rematch against Marquez? ....i guess its all about money
