This guy says canelo has power because he hurts smaller fighters. Come on, man. You know better. Lopez is a 140 pound fighter. He couldn't hurt canelo even if he landed clean.

Canelo does have a punchers chance of course, but this will be a UD for Floyd IMO.

If size don't win fights then how come all the floyd boyz don't want him in with Martinez? Haven't heard a ***** yet say that line with Martinez?

Floyd would wipe the floor with Canelo, lets not get carried away with a bigger man beating on much smaller men

It's understandable Floyd so great you have no other choice but to hang on to that one punch

Serg can def pose Floyd some problems unless his age plays a factor. Chavez Jr. also knocked some life out of dude lol.. Would be nice to watch though.

I love the fact that people say to beat mayweather you have to ko him. a guy was has never "officially" been down in his entire career. yes his glove touched vs zab but if that's the closest youve ever been to hitting the canvas i would say you have a very good chin. doesnt matter how great your defense is your gonna get hit clean, and floyd has, and has shown he has a great chin, strong legs(went into full on squat mode vs mosley and popped back up immediately) and great recovering ability. doesnt matter because canelo aint fast enough he has to plant himself to throw and floyd is gonna give him angles and spin him all night, just like baldomir, except i dont think canelo is as tough as baldy so he will be stopped late.

Of course not, as Floyd could not handle the power of Corrales, Gatti, ODLH, Shane, Oritz, Cotto either lol. To be honest, even though Floyd is my favorite fighter, I had concerns about him being able to take punches etc. However I learned that Floyd is tougher and grittier than people think. It is like with Ward, because a fighter is a superb boxer, people assume they cannot take a punch or are easy to bully and walk through. Obviously that is far from the truth. After Floyd took that shot from Shane I knew he was able to take a punch. If that monster shot did not put him down, I don't think too many shots will. Cotto wasn't even able to put a dent in Floyd, other than giving him a little bloody nose so. I do think Canelo is for real though and Floyd would be in for one tough fight regardless. I don't know how Floyd will be now that he has been to jail for a bit so I guess we will see. I do think it would take someone at 154 to beat him though because no one at 147 will, period.

I think Floyd's next fight is Canelo. There's no other name that comes up right now. So we'll soon see the result of the fight.

I'll be looking forward to this fight.

good points there, but you gotta keep in mind that after shane landed mayweather grabbed on for dear life. could he do the same with canelo?
